Ciudadanía, violencia epistémica y subjetividad

En el debate contemporáneo sobre la cuestión de la ciudadanía en la escena europea, se observa una larga tradición que la concibe únicamente como el producto de un proceso jurídico-político de concesión de derechos y titulaciones y, por tanto, como parte del ejercicio del poder soberano. El presente texto centra su interés en la dimensión epistémica y normativa de tales disposiciones políticas, así como en los desafíos a la distinción entre el ciudadano y el no-ciudadano que un foco en las prácticas y performances de la ciudadanía plantea. A través de la reflexión epistémica crítica, el artículo interroga los marcos de representación a través de los cuales son reguladas tanto la ciudadanía como la subjetividad política. Se argumenta que sólo a través de comenzar a prestar atención no solamente a la concesión sino también a la práctica de la ciudadanía, a sus performances confrontativas y a su relación con interrogantes vinculados al poder y la subjetividad, que podremos atender a la complejidad de los procesos implicados.
