Abstract

Friedrich Nietzsche anticipated several key ideas in postmodernism, such as the death of the subject and the end of logo-centrism. His philosophy, like much of the Frankfurt School philosophy and postmodernism, gave rise to contradictions when concepts originating with clear, logical thinkers and transmitted by logo-centric proceedings were put into practice. Such performative contradictions can lead to a new authoritarianism that proclaims certainties where uncertainty stubbornly continues to prevail.
