Abstract

The debate about women’s sexual consent is recent in Spanish society. Although this issue has been reflected on in the US since the 1980s, #MeToo, a fundamental movement in the global explosion of the fourth feminist wave, has placed the issue of sexual violence at the center of public opinion. This article will analyze the patriarchal shadows that surround sexual consent.
