The Brussels I bis Regulation in Spain: application by courts 2015–2025

Abstract

These pages set out the most significant elements and main conclusions of the analysis carried out in 2022 with a view to preparing the national report on the application of the Brussels I bis Regulation in Spain. Although the original work focused on the period between 10 January 2015 (date of entry into application of the Regulation) and 30 May 2022 (original cut–off date), the analysis is extended here to 1 August 2025, thus updating the results and accompanying them, where relevant, with a reflection on the evolution of the data.
