Resumen: En este artículo se ofrece un acercamiento a Gonzalo de Quadros, poeta con obra en el Cancionero de Baena y en el Cancionero de Palacio. Se proporciona una semblanza biográ ca, partiendo de los orígenes de su linaje, su enraizamiento en la aristocracia sevillana y su posicionamiento en la política castellana de la primera mitad del siglo xv. Asimismo, se da cuenta tanto de su participación en espectáculos de riesgo, como las justas, en las que cobró cierta gloria, como de su faceta poética, para justi car la pertinencia de su estudio en el marco de la revalorización de los poetas con corpus reducido.

Abstract: This paper offers an approach to Gonzalo de Quadros, poet with work in the Cancionero de Baena and in the Cancionero de Palacio. A biographical sketch, starting with the origins of his lineage, his rooting in the Sevillian aristocracy and his position in the Spanish policy in the rst half of the fteenth century is provided. It also presents both his participation in Entertainment risk, as joust, where he gained some glory, and his poetic side, to justify the relevance of his study in the context of the revaluation of the cancionero poets with reduced corpus.
