The Holy War and the Theoreme of Ibn Khaldun
Abstract
This paper researches into the fundamental analytical concepts necessary to understand Islam as the main principle behind the idea of the Holy War and the transition from the patriarchal structure of tribes to the urban empire. Ibn Khaldun confers the concept of «asabiyya» a key role in the historical cycle of empires.Downloads
