Abstract

The autor revises the Spanish sociology institutionalization process showing its actual situation. He reflects on the existing academic and professional crisis perception analysing the causes and what the future may be.

Catedrático de sociología (Métodos y Técnicas de Investigación social) en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ha sido subdirector del Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas y publicado numerosos libros y artículos sobre metodología de la investigación social, evaluación de programas, sociología económica y sociología de la marginación.
