Podemos and other party-movement models

Podemos is often related to the 15-M (Indignados) movement and some have considered it a partymovement. In these lines three dimensions of this relationship are examined: the organizational link between the two, the contextual and the discursive link. The organizational link between Podemos and social movements is then compared with the relationship between other parties that have been related to Podemos —Syriza, recent “instrumental parties” or coalitions at the local level in Spain and MAS in Bolivia— and social movements in their own context.Downloads
