Nuevos municipalismos en espacios posyugoslavos: rupturas democráticas en Zagreb y Belgrado

A medida que sistemas políticos formalmente democráticos de todo el mundo devienen en regímenes autoritarios neoliberales, surgen contramovimientos que adoptan la forma de plataformas municipalistas. En este contexto, el espacio posyugoslavo también es testigo de la confluencia de protestas de este tipo, por ejemplo, en Zagreb y Belgrado. Estas prácticas solo pueden entenderse si se analizan las condiciones locales concretas y las estructurales generales. En este artículo, el surgimiento de nuevos municipalismos en ambas ciudades sirve como punto de partida para analizar una coyuntura concreta de contradicciones e iniciativas que pertenecen a un desarrollo más amplio enmarcado en las turbulencias de los 10 años posteriores a la crisis y potencialmente representan rupturas democráticas en estados-nación neoliberales y autoritarios. Así, esta contribución indaga en las condiciones societales para su existencia y el papel que pueden desempeñar los aparatos de Estado como terrenos de luchas emancipatorias.
