Abstract

The notion of Global Administrative Law (Derecho Administrativo Global or Internationales Verwaltungsrecht in its Spanish and German version, respectively), has achieved a remarkable degree of diffusion in the recent years. However, the increasing frequency in the use of this idiom for the Spanish scholars has not been accompanied by a general explanation of the development and the extension of this new phenomenon. Therefore this article aims to describe the formation process of the so-called Global Administrative Law, its main impact on legal sciences and its limits. It suggests in particular that the Global Administrative Law represents a new keyword, which actually cannot be defi ned as a new discipline or a new fi eld of administrative law.
