Abstract

In the last three years, the Supreme Court of the United States has issued several
opinions that greatly change the two basic pillars on which U.S. Administrative law
was based: the restriction of presidential power to freely remove agency members and
the Chevron doctrine of judicial deference to the executive. This paper attempts to
provide a brief overview of these judicial pronouncements.
