A Revision of the Constitutional Pact Based on Parity in the Post-Pandemic Situation

The crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic has revealed many of the weaknesses of our social and democratic State. Effects have been particularly negative from the point of view of gender equality. The need to overcome the construction of «the subject of rights» and the theory used to support constitutional institutions has been revealed. In this sense, the post-pandemic is an ideal scenario to strengthen our constitutional states, by incorporating parity as a structural principle and care rights as the central axis of a revision which sets the basis for a new social contract.
