The globules of the Volksgeist. Romanticism and racism in the ideological genesis of Galicianism

In this paper we intend to offer an overview of the ideological origins of Galicianism. Being aware of the complex and heterogeneous nature of this genealogy, we will nevertheless show that some reactionary romantic ideas and certain explicitly racialist theories are very present in the theoretical corpus of the first intellectuals of Galician nationalism.
