Abstract

The military rebellions of 1923 and 1936 are studied in this text throughout the interpretaron of the conflict in both periods, the ca-pabilities of the military to intervene in politics, and the rebellion processes themselves, that ended in a military dictatorship and in a civil war. In these rebellions, the military rebels used the logic of war in politics and they sought to maintain the State «...away from the ends of social groups and the existing conflicts».
