The anarcho-monarchists. The monarchist option in the CNT
Abstract
In October 1944, the National Alliance of Democratic Forces (ANFD) was constituted in Spain. This Alliance played a fundamental role in negotiations between organisations opposed to Franco's regime and monarchists in the second half of the forties. This arti-cle analyzes the actions of the CNT in these conversations in the heart of the Alliance at first and, later, in the Interior Coordination Committe (CIC), as well as the repercussions the negotiations with monarchists had on the CNT as a whole.Downloads
