Abstract

In the zone that was under theoretical control of the Government of the Republic, the process of resetting of the State —whose structure had been largely sunk and dismasted after the events of July 1936— required the collaboration of all the workers’ organizations, and the use of the discourse of «antifascism» as main axis of recovery of the republican legality. The process counted paradoxically on the decisive collaboration of two sectors that only months before had advocated, one way or another, the rupture of the republican legality: the leaders of the CNT-FAI in Catalonia, and the largocaballerismo in the rest of Republican Spain.
