This article analyses the propaganda put about by the Italian fascist authorities in Barcelona and Catalonia from 1934 to 1936. Studying the original Italian diplomatic and propagandistic documents, the author discerns the insignificance of fascism and the constant polemics surrounding the way it was to be spread. He also discusses various associative projects of Catalan-Italian friendship in which different elements of conservative pro-Catalonia elements participated.Downloads
