Abstract

This article offers preliminary evidence on the degree of social integration of Moroccan immigrants in three European destination countries: France, the Netherlands and Spain. This a less frequent research design than the standard comparing the outcomes of immigrants from different national origins in a given host society. Our plan, allows confirming the expectation that Moroccans represent a particularly deprived group in comparison with other immigrant groups with whom they share receiving context. We also conclude that the reception context represented by each of the countries included in our study does not have a systematic influence on the indicators of integration used in our analysis.
