Origins of a dissent. Manuel Sacristán in the magazines Estilo and Quadrante

The purpose of the present article is to analyze a little known period of the trajectory of the philosopher and politician Manuel Sacristán Luzón, his years as a young Falangist. For that, we analyzed his collaboration with two magazines of the Sindicato Español Universitario (SEU), Estilo magazine and Quadrante magazine. The methodology used implies a double perspective which covers and relates not only the textual analysis, but also the contextual analysis. This approach allows to appreciate the boom and decadence of the reception of the Falangist «utopia» in the postwar generation and gives some hints needed to understand the historical conditions of the Marxism introduction into Spain.Downloads
