CITY THOROUGHFARES: A STATE PLAN FOR INFRASTRUCTURES AND TRANSPORT

Abstract

The paper indicates the thoroughfares which were studied by the Central Administration as within its General Infrastructures Plan. It lays down the differing methodologies used according to the population size of cities and the way that the recent design recommendations for roadways as within city areas were come upon, these touching upon both the conception and the road planning phases of the question. The need to base any initiatives to be undertaken upon the present road network of Spain is here underlined.
