The persistent link between gender and mobility has been growing as a topic of inquiry both in academic work and in the political agendas of transportation and mobility in Latin America. Indeed, the recognition of gender biases in transportation and their effects on women's daily mobility patterns has expanded the possibilities for research on the role of gender in the study of women's daily travel in urban spaces. However, inquiries into the link between gender, care work and mobility are still limited. Based on a mixed study integrating a mobility and care survey applied in Mexico City with a qualitative mobile research strategy, this article explores women's care journeys and their potential implications for the design of public mobility spaces.
