Abstract

The National Truth Commission, disregarding the right to memory and supporting itself on definitions gathered from international texts about what should be considered as serious human rights violations, has limited — disrespecting the Law n. 12.528/11 — the inquiries concerning criminal actions perpetrated during the Military Regime, examining only those committed by State agents and damaging the real comprehension of the historical phenomenon, derailing the definitive national reconciliation, what may result in possible criminal or civil consequences.
