The successory Regulation (EU) 650/2012, ten years after its approval, in the jurisprudence of the CJEU

Abstract
Ten years have passed since the approval on July 4, 2012, and its subsequent publication in the DO on July 27, 2012, of the Regulation (EU) No 650/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and acceptance and enforcement of authentic instruments in matters of succession and on the creation of a European Certificate of Succession (hereinafter Regulation 650/2012). The objective of this work is to show the criteria followed by the Court of Justice of the European Union, formerly known as the Court of Justice of the European Communities, when applying European private international inheritance law.
