Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and evaluate of the normative evolution experienced in carriage international law by road, the insertion of new technologies, artificial intelligence and the level 5 autonomous heavy vehicle in the sector and its ascription to the material scope of private international law and international trade law. In particular, the proposed analysis will focus on the challenges and uncertainties for the century of specialization posed by the inadequacy of the non–harmonizing legislative policy of the European Union in the sector and the technical inability to massively introduce the aforementioned type of heavy vehicle on the European road network. From the operators sector`s point of view, it will tackle that when the aim of the legal security is achievingor on the contrary the absence of the compatibility of the rules between the competences of the various actors finishes producing doubts that harm all the interests of the present cast.
