The aims of this work were to analyze the different features that can be developed from the
experience, to know the importance that the teachers of Physical Education attribute to the coeducation and to identify which are the barriers that prevent them from carrying out activities with coeducational approaches. Semi structural interviews were conducted and subjected to content analysis. Through the hermeneutic process it is emphasized that: (I) the category “evolution in its practice” shows that the teachers of Physical Education with a greater experience have a great sensitiveness to coeducation, reflecting it in their methodology; (II) the category “importance that the teaching staff attributes to the coeducation” highlights that the teachers care more about the coeducation than the teaching institution of other areas; (III) the category “barriers to work the coeducation” declares that the pupils are against some activities due to their families, which intensify certain stereotypes of gender
