Sostenibilidad de la innovación en los centros escolares: Sus bases institucionales

Resumen

Se exponen en este artículo los hallazgos de un estudio acerca de las bases institucionales sobre las que escuelas innovadoras han construido y sostenido procesos de cambio durante una larga trayectoria. Mediante el estudio de casos y metodologías etnográficas esta investigación se propuso conocer en diez centros escolares de dos provincias españolas aspectos como: la práctica de la innovación, la cultura organizativa, las estructuras informales de poder, las prácticas de liderazgo o las relaciones sociales al interior y con el exterior de cada institución. A partir de aquí se trató de describir el conocimiento organizativo acerca de la innovación construido por los diferentes centros escolares a lo largo de su trayectoria. Ello nos permitirá discutir algunos presupuestos comunes de la teoría sobre los procesos de cambio en la educación.
