Abstract

The successful democratic process in Spain now not only allows to defend the King’s intervention the night of February 23rd 1981, but it also to revise the almost absolute power then given to the Crown to desactivate the coup D’Etat. To discuss and bring forward alternatives the author criticises an interpretation of Title II of the Spanish Constitution which was conditioned by the King’s actions during those hours.
