Abstract

How does regional order change? What is the role of agents' language in making new regional schemes, and who structures such language? Contradictory conceptions regarding how ought to be South American integration in the xxi century were some of the regional drivers of the idea to erect the Pacific Alliance between Colombia, Chile, and Peru. The critical discourse analysis highlighted an interaction stage between the region and the agencies and the role played by the presidential language. The methodology explained the dynamics of discursive interaction and the processes between agents-actors-region to differentiate themselves from the narratives and practices extrapolated in the Other Caribbean and Latin American regional schemes.
