Abstract

On our legal system, the situation of transgender children still not been addressed in its entirety. The Constitution and other laws provide a protective framework of their rights. The regulation on the situation of the same has occurred in some regions legislation on gender identity; in them is recognized the right to protection of the public authorities and the comprehensive care of their needs, although it is very sparse and operates in two specific areas, education and health, even though the second mention are not covered all complex issues arising in the social reality. Nevertheless, this reference performs importance transcendental since it is the first time that expressly regulates the situation of the above mentioned minors.
