Abstract

The curricular evaluation process to obtain accreditation for access to university teaching bodies entails an arduous process of evaluation of the merits and competencies of the applicants by the called accreditation commissions. However, in the event of an unfavourable resolution of the accreditation request, various questions are raised about the action of these commissions and their control through the courts. In this sense, the analysis of the technical discretion applicable to these cases is very interesting, as well as various issues related to the performance of these commissions, to clearly delimit the extent to which a claim of the interested party can succeed before the courts.
