Abstract

The new regulation of the sanctioning powers of the Public Administration established in the LRJSP and the LPAC has not only revealed unnecessary, given the few new legal features, but also is cleary pernicious because it does nothing but deepens the disintegration and legal uncertainty in which is currently involved our Administrative Sanctioning Law. Furthermore, the new legal framework set up is as incomplete and partial as it was before, due to the diversity of laws implementing the sanctioning powers of the administrative authorities. Finally, from a critical perspective, the new laws regarding fi nes do not apply to all sectors and some its new provisions are quite questionable.
