Abstract

This paper analyzes the impact of globalization of the law, and its expression within Public Law. Conceptualizing globalization as a social, economic, environmental and informational interdependence, the analysis looks at impacts on traditional state public institutions, and then proposes the use of the main principles of public law (control, accountability, transparency...) beyond their typical application to state government institutions. In recent times, many academic works have focused on this question. In this paper, reflections on this subject derive from four recent academic works published by professors J.-B. AUBY, S. CASSESE, and J. L. MEILÁN, within the framework of the contributions of American and German doctrine.
