Emotional intelligence of nursing degree students according to gender and religion
Abstract
Nursing is a profession subject to high levels of stress, in this sense, emotional intelligence will act as a shock absorber, so that students of this university degree who have a good level of stress will cope better and in a more efficient way. more positive the day to day of their learning and their future profession. For this quantitative research work, with a descriptive and cross-sectional design, the objective of describing and analyzing the sociodemographic profile of nursing students and relating it to their emotional intelligence, of a total of 249 nursing students, has been proposed. , using the TMMS-24 questionnaire. The results show that gender and religion influence the development of competencies, specifically in the competencies linked to management skills, leadership and labor relations and teamwork.
