Organic Law 8/2021, of 4 June, on the protection of children against violence is presented as a comprehensive law whose aim is to ensure better and more complete protection of children’s rights against those serious acts that undermine their enjoyment. The changes that this implies in the Criminal Code and the philosophy that permeates the norm are the object of analysis, taking as an essential starting point the criminal guarantees.
