During turning points or critical moments, the Mexican women left the private space and actively participated in defense of their country, as in the case of the foreign invasions or in the situations where the direction of the nation was determined, for example, in the Mexican Revolution. Nevertheless, as peace hours were passing by, their contribution was not recognized. When concluding the revolutionary movement and undertaking the task of writing a new Political Constitution, women asked for recognition of their right to vote and be voted, but the representatives did not hear and did not incorporate into the original constitutional text the political rights of the female population .
