La función del capital social en la adaptabilidad del Triángulo de la Moda de Madrid frente al impacto de la pandemia COVID-19

El artículo analiza el rol del capital social frente al COVID-19, centrándose en el Triángulo de la Moda (TM) de Madrid, un área urbana caracterizada por la concentración del comercio mayorista de moda. Mediante investigación documental y entrevistas en profundidad, se revela un capital social multidimensional arraigado en el área, destacando la asociación como agente clave en su desarrollo. Complementariamente, la dimensión cognitiva se evidencia como condicionante de las dimensiones relacional y estructural y esencial en impulsar la cohesión social interna. Sin embargo, la debilidad del capital social estructural merma su óptima adaptabilidad. Este estudio contribuye a la literatura al examinar los factores condicionantes del capital social en sectores de servicios maduros localizados en espacios intraurbanos y sus efectos frente a shocks externos.
