The paper looks into the changes wrought by STC 61/1997 upon the Conjoint Text of 26 June 1992 as to the Land Act and the repercussions of this upon such legislation as could be applicable to the Region of Murcia and most especially upon its C&T Planning at present under revision. They furthermore offer a preview of both the objectives and major outlines of the Region's planned Town Planning Act which aims to encompass previous legislation as to this particular while bringing it into line with the new national legislation as to the same, said project being here said to be well on its way towards completion. The paper is rounded out by an explanation of the methods used in drawing up the new Bill.
