The Effects of STC 61/1997 on the Rioja Autonomous Region along with New Thinking in its C&T Legislation
Keywords:
Legislación urbanística, Doctrina constitucional, La RiojaAbstract
The paper lays out the impact of STC 61/1997 upon the Rioja Autonomous Region by considering the same in terms of its distinct types of territorial unit, seeing said impact to have been minimal in the greater part of its townships given that their minor entity escaped the provisions brought in by Act 8/1990. However, when considering the Region's major urban nuclei: Logroño, Calahorra and Haro, the opposite holds, especially as to distribution zones and those up for specific improvement. The authors see a major demand now for the developing of the Region's own C&T legislation and this as swiftly as possible in order to fill the existing void as to this material.
