Abstract

The paper, given the problems of outlining Spanish property marketing over such a long and conflicting period has chosen to divide its review of the subject into two main periods representing the prelude to and aftermath of the Spanish Civil War. Rather than summarizing great periods of building or a characterizing of the major moving lights in the field of either period, the author has chosen to bring attention to certain detailing matters of the question bur not before offering an adequate bibliography for its more general aspects. Special attention is given to how property actually comes onto the market and to things with a special importance for the urbanist.
