Some critics reflexions on the recommendations by the select Committee on town and country planning

Abstract

The paper develops a series of critical observations upon five of the basically economic conclusions -be these explicit or not- drawn up by the Select Committee of Experts and included among their recommendations, these being 1, that the landowners and speculators are the true problem; 2, that an over-classification of building ground is not advisable: 3, that development plans should not embrace the conceding of developing permission; 4, that the price of housing and planning concessions both affect landowners and 5. all planning initiatives must offer cheap housing.

With the aim of promoting the dissemination of knowledge, CyTET joins the Open Journal Access (OA) movement and delivers all of its content to various national and international indexes, repositories and databases under this protocol; therefore, the submission of a work to be published in the journal presupposes the explicit acceptance by the author of this distribution method.

Authors are encouraged to reproduce and host their work published in CyTET in institutional repositories, web pages, etc. with the intention of contributing to the improvement of the transfer of knowledge and the citation of said works.
