Abstract

The paper outlines the methology used when dealing with the environment as within the regional planning guidelines for The Basque Country. Having laid out the system behind the paper, a brief analysis is made of the major environmental problems of this Autonomic Regional Community and how these bear upon its most specific social and economic development. The paper is rounded off by suggestions as to how the various specifically delimited elements in play in the environmental field might allow for a keeping up of preservation worthy elements while, at the same time, in no wise constituting any impediment for their being put to use.
