NATURE AS AN ARCHITECTURE RE-MADE

Abstract

The paper maintains that an unlimited economic growth has led to an at times irreversible degradation of Man's habitat and that this process persists, thus calling for an urgent reconsideration be it ideological and be it legislative of this patently negative phenomenum. Sheer Productivity and its spin off, aggressive marketing, are wearing out countries and leaving them with a dreary landscape in which technifying objects batten upon the natural original. The paper suggests that a mere admitting that there are ground for concern is no longer enough and that actions of a critical-cum-renewing nature are now the order of the day given the instrumentalizing irracionality with which these societies at risk boast their feats.
