Abstract

A Common Weal is a right that no society that has cast off the ills of underdevelopment can afford to renounce. This study as to living conditions in the Basque Country sets out to delineate that social geography within which her citizens carry on their daily life and does so not only to the end of knowing this the better but also so that all such measures tending to best any of its drawbacks might be the more soundly founded. The drawing up of some few indicators, though these be of a modest pretention albeit complex in their derivation, allow the author(s) to set up a dynamic evaluation the topography of the region's dynamics.
