Abstract

A fresh will develop and transform is here seen to be abroad in present-day Cuba, the City of La Habana being the test bed in wich new ways of popular participation as to building massive housing development schemes and social works are being put to proof along with the trying out of new technical means used towards the end of bettering the concept of the city's proper image. The paper sets out to sketch in a few aspects of the content and reach of these processes, likewise their bearing on cuban town and country planning.
