Spanish scientific publication and town country planning: «CIUDAD Y TERRITORIO» as a case in point: 1969-1985

Abstract

The paper maintains that as within the world of Science, the role of regular publications as spreaders forwarders and commentators is well shown up by any hibliometric study of these same. The editing publication's make up its most prolific authors (their academic and professional background), the range of themes touched upon through out its succession of numbers, the geographical scope of the areas in it mentioned all underscore the import of this same publication as a part of the general scientific community. In the same wise, its overall agreement or putting in question of its own discipline's basic tenats at any given time is held to be informative. This paper here is a study in point of «Ciudad y Territorio» a pioneer publication in its field and it is felt that it is shown to have been a pioneer in this for its twenty-years of publication.
