Abstract

The thesis tall working class is only interested in the use-value of land and property is discussed through and analysis of the two self-help settlements located on the out skirts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. On the other hand small-scale land trading is shown to be a major individualist way towards working class social mobility. Hence the significance of this fact lies in the secondary relations of explotataion which are articulated around land rent appropiation.
