La Ley aplicable a la cadena de bloques

Abstract

The question which law applies to the blockchain is one of the thorniest questions of private international law. This contribution discusses the proper qualification of blockchain assets and transfers and the most appropriate connecting factor to link them to a governing state law. It concludes that the bulk of legal questions may be solved using traditional conflicts rules, without the need to localise the blockchain or the assets registered on it as such.
