Main Article Content
Abstract
The Autonomous Community of the Basque Country has approved Law 2/2024 of 15 February on Childhood and Adolescence, which incorporates into the autonomous legal system both the principles and rights relating to the protection of minors and adolescents proclaimed by the international conventions to which Spain is a party, and the modifications made by the various state regulations approved in recent years in this field. This law represents a significant advance in the promotion and protection of the rights of minors in the Basque Country, protecting them from all forms of violence and situations of vulnerability, articulating and organizing rights, which, previously, were previously scattered in different legal documents.
