Abstract

This work consists of the exposition and evaluation of the contribution of three important authors to the problematic of Spanish territorial organization. The fundamental focus is the study of the relations between federalism, in its ideal or possible versions, and nationalism. The work of Azaola, which starts with the analysis of the Basque question, takes place before 1978. Solé considers the canonical work of Catalanism, formulated during the Restoration by Prat de la Riba. Trujillo is a lucid commentator on the constitutional system of 1978, that is, the autonomous State.
