Abstract

These reflections on political topology are focussed on Giorgio Agamben’s notion of zone of indifference as origin of politics, and also on its different variations: homo sacer, nuda vita (bloßes Leben), which is neither bíos nor zoḗ, state of emergency and finally the glory as a zone of indifference between politics and religion (the holy). Both the idea of zone and the idea of indifference itself will be critically analized. Moreover, the argument that a threshold separates politics and the holy deserves a critical assessment too.
